1. About TopCut.ai
TopCut.ai is an AI-powered strategy tool for competitive Pokémon Trading Card Game players, operated by Topcut.ai LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("we", "us"). The service consists of this website and the TopCut app at app.topcut.ai. The app is currently in an invite-only beta.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By using the website or the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account, created by verifying your email address. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. One account per person; accounts are not transferable. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, evade usage limits, or violate applicable law.
4. Credits, free runs, and payments
Paid features are metered in credits, sold as prepaid one-time packs — there is no subscription. The credit price of each AI run is shown before you start it and deducted when it completes; failed or cached runs are not charged. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and never expire. New verified accounts receive a small number of free runs (currently three, lifetime). Purchases are processed by Stripe and sold through Link as merchant of record; sales tax is handled at checkout. Our Refund Policy is part of these terms. We may change pack contents, per-run prices, free-tier allowances, and usage limits (such as daily caps) at any time; already-purchased credits keep working.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to bypass usage limits or billing, creating accounts to farm free runs, reverse-engineering non-public parts of the service, scraping at disruptive volume, or reselling access without our written permission.
6. Intellectual property
The TopCut.ai name, site design, and original content are our property. Pokémon and Pokémon TCG are trademarks of Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, and Creatures Inc. TopCut.ai is an independent fan-made tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by those companies. Card names and game data are used for informational and analytical purposes only. You own the decklists you create; you give us permission to store and process them to run the service.
7. AI output; no warranty
The service and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Deck analysis, win-rate estimates, and strategy suggestions are generated in part by AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and they are not guarantees of tournament results. Use your own judgment.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Topcut.ai LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
